Nequinox Studios are delighted to announce the appointment of games industry veteran, Ron Ashtiani, as Chair of the Board of Directors.

Ron brings over 25 years of creative and business experience across the games and movie industries to Nequinox and will play a key role helping grow the business and engage with new global partners.

Ron has been involved in the running of several businesses over the last 20 years. In 2009 he formed visual design company, Atomhawk, building the business from a team of 4 into an international brand with studios in the UK and Canada. Following a successful sale of that business in 2017 to Sumo Group, he was Chair of the Board at SockMonkey studios for 3 years, playing a key part in its significant growth and subsequent acquisition by Behaviour Interactive earlier this year.

In 2001, he co-founded creative services agency, Big Thursday Creative. He is a proud member of BAFTA and has been listed in both the UK top 100 people in video games and in the top 100 in digital media. Ron has extensive experience in art direction and leading creative teams, with creative credits including 3 Marvel movies and over 30 video games.
